Jimmy J.P. is a business developer, social entrepreneur and public speaker, currently residing in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As an evangelist of data privacy and higher control of personal data, he joined Tykn’s leadership in May 2017, following a period of advisory work surrounding distributed ledger technology and business development, after which he became an integral part in scaling the company to where it is today: building digital identity management tools for governments and NGOs, with The Netherlands Red Cross as a flagship client.
Tykn is currently preparing for a pilot in St. Martin starting September 6, with the 510 Data Team of The Netherlands Red Cross. Here they will be testing “Ana”, Tykn’s distributed identity attestation system, for the identification of beneficiaries for faster and more efficient expedition of aid. This is a stepping stone towards fulfilling Tykn’s vision of bringing higher socio-economic inclusion to the most vulnerable, through systems providing resilient identities.
